New York Fashion Week Spring 2012

New York Fashion Week only happens twice a year, but its imprint leaves a resounding impact in style for the year to come.
This semi-annual event is one of the four big fashion weeks around the world and the start of runway shows in London, Paris, and Milan.
Fashion Week kicks off each season in the amazing New York City, One of the most diverse regions in the world and an international capital of style.

The first New York Fashion Week held in 1943 was the first-ever organized fashion week in the world, back then, it only had one show per hour.
This year, the week is packed with almost 300 shows in eight days.
The weeklong event, recently moved from the Bryant Park Tents to the Lincoln Center for Performing Arts, features some of the world's top designers such as Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, and Betsey Johnson.
The 2012 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week officially kicks off on September 8th.
