Green eyes and blonde hair are always a good look, and nothing could be truer than for Brazilian bombshell, Aline Cleusa Weber, who is rapidly conquering the fashion world -- giving her long pins a run for their money as she dashes from catwalk to photo shoot, darting across the globe, and even turning down some top designer shows due to high demand!
Model Moments
Aline grew up in Santa Catarina, a southern state in Brazil, where she began modelling from the early age of 15. It was only after four years of castings and refusals that Aline got her first break. And within the blink of an eye, she was snapped up to feature on the cover of Dazed and Confused in 2005; shortly followed by her debut catwalk show for Tommy Hilfiger’s Spring collection at New York Fashion Week the same year.
After moving to New York in 2008, Aline began to build a smoking reputation for herself and gain international exposure, courtesy of Nicolas Ghesquière, who had booked her to open his Fall 2008 show. Her lusty pout, sky-high cheekbones, and ethereal beauty have won the hearts and desires of many designers out there. Since then, Aline has been a regular on high profile runways, landing some of the best couture shows of the season like Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Jean Paul Gaultier, Chanel, and Roberto Cavalli.
This year alone, Aline has walked in 32 Fall shows, and is continuing to add to her tally as the S/S13 fashion season commences, taking to the runway for Helmut Lang, Prabal Gurung, Zac Posen, Rodarte, and counting. And her face has graced the covers of worldwide issues of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, i-D Magazine, amongst countless others.
But it’s not only on the runway that Aline is making an outstanding name for herself. Aline has been rocking the camera, and not just in stills, check out this ultra-erotic video with Kanye West for the launch of model Anja Rubik’s new magazine, 25. Aline can be seen wearing vampire teeth and a Jesus crown.

Recently Aline has teamed up with treasured Brazilian male model, Alexandre Cunha, for the latest Cavalli F/W 12/13 campaign and in a few days will be finishing her stint at fashion week, ending with the ultimate haute couture event, Paris Fashion Week.
But all this does not phase the Brazilian babe. Aline stays true to her roots, and hasn’t forgotten where she came from; often heading back to Brazil to walk the runway at Sao Paulo Fashion Week.
I’m a Hippie, Yeah!
When Aline isn’t busy jet setting around the world, she can be found relaxing on a small island, full of fishermen and hippies, south of Brazil with her model boyfriend and fellow Brazilian, Matheus Strappason. Or, you can spot her rummaging through second-hand boutiques, searching for boho-chic vintage items to add to her signature cool look.
Aline once said in an interview that she dreamed of traveling to Japan and New York. Turns out, the lucky lady is now living in New York, and recently appeared rocking the Tokyo streets for “The Girl Who Rocks the Planet” Japanese Vogue editorial in April. FashionTV takes our hat off to Aline! You go girl... It seems that dreams really do come true!
