The star of Day 7 at Cannes was People’s Sexiest-Man-Alive Brad Pitt, who is promoting his new film Killing Them Softly.

Pitt walked down the red carpet in a fabulous Gucci suit, this time without his “new” fiancée Angelina Jolie, whose absence did not go unnoticed at the event.

Other stars like Alec Baldwin and Jeremy Irons also mad notable appearances, as does jury member Diane Kruger in an ethereal white Nina Ricci gown with embroidery and feather embellishments as well as a chiffon skirt. She had a large lavender corsage on her shoulder. Her longtime boyfriend Joshua Jackson stood by her side in head-to-toe Lanvin.

But as always it was P. Diddy who made the most impressive entrance of the day, strolling down in a shiny white tuxedo, throwing smiles all around. The same night Diddy threw an exclusive yacht party for his A-list pals, which included new power couple Kim Kardashian and Kayne West.
