Cindy Crawford Presents A Casual Line For C&A
The supermodel has created a 31-piece collection for the German retailer store C&A. Striped sweaters, T-shirts, leather jackets and more are offered to all in affordable prices.
Forty-six year-old Cindy Crawford is testing her fashion designing skills. With a new collection created for German retailer C&A, Crawford proves that great fashion can be sold for reasonable prices. The collection will be available from August 27th in 1,500 C&A branches across Europe and on several online shops.
Carwford's casual collection includes sweaters, T-shirts, cardigans, pullovers, jeans, pants and leather jackets. Besides being casual, prices are also budget-friendly and affordable. For example, blazers and jeans cost you 39 euros (48.09 dollars), shirts and blazers cost 19 euros ( 23.43 dollars), and leather jackets will be available for 149 euros (183.75 dollars). The new collection will be exposed widely on TV, online campaigns and promotional activities on social network sites.
This will be the first time that C&A collaborates with international celebrities. On previous campaigns, the German retailer store chose local celebrities to take part in ad campaigns and promotions.
For many, Cindy Crawford is still one of the prettiest women alive. During the 80s and 90s, her success was so huge that every top designer and prestigious brand wished to work with her. She rocked runways, did many ad campaigns and graced countless magazine covers all around the world. Crawford was also cast for TV shows, videos and films. Back in 2000 Crawford quit modeling, but she will still strike a pose from time to time for unique and special fashion productions.
In 2005, she launched the “Cindy Crawford Home Collection,” a furniture line, and in 2009, she launched another home goods line along with J.C Penney. Her collaboration with C&A is her first adventure as a designer and brand spokesperson.
