Designer Focus: Sultanna Frantsuzova-The award winning Russian designer
Sultanna Frantsuzova studied fashion design under one of Russia’s greatest designers, Slava Zaitsev. Unlike her mentor, for Frantsuzova the Soviet era was merely a memory and not a fact of life. Although her designs do have some inspiration from the period, she has let her success blossom long after the fall of the Communist regime.
After graduating from Slava Zaitsev’s Fashion Laboratory in Moscow, Frantsuzova gained a scholarship to continue her studies in Milan, where she cultivated a more elite and unconventional style.

Following her widespread success in Europe and Russia, Frantsuzova planned to take on the Asian market. In order to do so, Frantsuzova moved to Hong Kong and created a new label, Anybody’s Blond. The unconventional yet ultra stylish designs and the fact that the garments were available at an affordable rate gained her new label immense popularity. Nowadays, Anybody’s Blond is a well renowned brand throughout Asia and Russia.
