Diane von Furstenberg Designs for ROXY

Posted on 6th August 2012 | Designers

Diane von Furstenberg has announced a new collaboration with beachwear brand ROXY for a limited-edition swimwear line.

Maybe it’s Ryan Lochte, Michael Phelps, Federica Pellegrini or simply the summer season that has made Diane von Furstenberg want to dive into the water. The American fashion designer has announced she is now working on a new limited-edition swimwear line in collaboration with the famous label, ROXY.

The capsule collection “DVF Loves ROXY” will include 35 pieces that will make you look stunning next summer on the beach. Apart from the swimsuits, DVF and ROXY are working on matching beach cover-ups, beach bags, board shorts and rash guards. All the designs are inspired by Furstenberg’s iconic bold prints and will have the ROXY surf culture-inspired silhouettes, too.

The hard work and innovative designs make DVF very happy. “I am so excited to work with Roxy," the designer told Women’s Wear Daily. "The collection is playful and fun, we wanted to empower women to go for it and ride the waves."

Though the new line will perfectly suit your upcoming vacation, “DVF Loves Roxy” will only be available for the Spring/Summer 2013 season. Prices are estimated to range from $38-$88. The collection will be offered at selected DVF and Roxy stores, online and on special surfing outlet stores across the USA.

This isn’t the first time DVF has collaborated with another brand.  In the past, she teamed up with clothing brands like Current Elliot and Gap.  The DVF Loves Roxy collection will be another great example of DVF’s inspirational teamwork.
