Fashion on Mars photoshoot by Giuliano Bekor
In the 70’s, David Bowie wanted to know if there were life forms on another planet. He addressed this in his song “Life on Mars.” Well now we can let him know that we're still not sure about life, but there’s certainly FASHION on Mars.
Intergalactic inquiry has set the world's imagination on fire this week, when NASA set a Mars rover named ‘Curiosity’ to explore the galaxy’s most intriguing planet, known for its similarities to Earth, it probably is the only planet in our solar system that we can colonize.
Fashion photographer Giuliano Bekor was inspired by this groundbreaking news, and chose the red planet's beauty as a setting for his incredible photoshoot editorial for Harper’s Bazaar.
Explosive, but soothing red backgrounds, fire, smoke and cracked surfaces are Giuliano’s theme for the shoot, with the models posing in Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Cavalli and more. Confirming that fashion will always be around, and especially on such a photogenic new planet.
