Will Adele design for Burberry? The singer has refused to comment on the rumours linking her to a collaboration with Christopher Bailey on a plus-size clothing collection for Burberry. Adele, who is expecting a child, has previously made it clear that she is a fan of the brand and has previously been spotted wearing Burberry at the 2001 Brit Awards and at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards. There have been protests over the controversial magazine cover of Vogue Hommes International Fall/Winter issue. Four women’s rights groups have joined forces in order to pull the issue off newsstands. The issue features model Marlon Teixeira seemingly choking Stephanie Seymour, while also fondling her breasts. New York Fashion Week Spring 2013 featured 79.4% white models, which is actually an improvement from previous seasons. While this is clearly not the case in London this season, NYFW still has a long way to go in order to improve its casting diversity. (Jezebel)
Elizabeth Hurley’s bikinis for young girls are receiving some negative attention. Leopard prints and two-piece swimwear for girls under 8, were enough to raise some eyebrows. Despite all this, the collection seems to be selling really well according to Hurley’s spokesperson. (Huffington Post)
Katie Holmes covers Harper’s Bazaar Russia October issue. The 33-year-old recently presented her collection for Holmes & Yang Spring 2013 collection at NYFW, but wears Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino and Michael Kors inside the magazine. (US Magazine)
