FashionTV was pleased with the luxe prints, bright colors, and stylish fashion in the front row at the John Richmond Spring/Summer 2013 collection during Milan Men’s Fashion Week. Then we saw Twilight star Kellan Lutz and he put all the other style gurus to shame!

Kellan Lutz was interviewed by FashionTV at the John Richmond show wearing a cream colored shirt with a unique Victorian-style from the designer who he says he loves because he’s edgy and tries new things. “This is the first time I’ve worn a tie like this and I love it! I love his style,” Lutz says.

Who knew he was a fashionisto? Certainly not FashionTV! Sure, we’ve seen him at a Tommy Hilfiger show but we thought the fashion ended with the sportswear.  He surprised us when he turned up at many Milan Men’s Fashion Week shows during the Spring/Summer 2013 season, with appearances at Roberto Cavalli, Emporio Armani and more. On his arm, Australian model and girlfriend Sharni Vinson.

But why was Lutz suddenly channeling his inner fashion demon? According to our conversation with him at John Richmond, Lutz is picking up inspirations from other designers because he has become one himself.  The Twilight hunk has started his own clothing line Abbot + Main, which focuses on fashion with a Los Angeles twist.  Not exactly sure how this ties in with his time at Milan, but we’re sure any moments spent with top menswear designers are moments worth seeking.  It’s Lutz’s first time in Milan during Milan Men’s Fashion Week and it looks like he’s got the style down to a science.  His new clothing line, with its Venice Beach twist, also proves just that.
