Michael Kors Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Show - New York Fashion Week
It’s official: stripes are back and designer Michael Kors has made them sexier than ever before! The designer called his Spring/Summer 2013 collection “geometric glamour”, giving us something more eye-popping and colorful, but also offering that crisp clean style he’s known for. The 1960s mod inspired collection at New York Fashion Week consisted primarily of sleek trench dresses, A-line skirts, skinny khakis and bold colored striped sweaters. He offered boxy separates and zip side one pieces as well. The last sexy cutout black number strutted ever so perfectly by Karlie Kloss is where glamour hit its mark.

Who wasn’t at the Falguni & Shane Peacock Spring 2013 show during New York Fashion Week? Hollywood’s biggest names attended the one of a kind fashion show. Paris Hilton, Adam Lambert, Neon Hitch and Louise Roe were just a few of the names. Besides the star studded attendance, FashionTV Presenter/Actress Hofit Golan took us backstage to chat with the designers themselves. According to the designers, this year’s collection is all about cyber couture and sci-fi structure along with edgy prints, laser cut outs, psychedelic patterns and talk about that outstanding opening, making this show one of the most buzzed shows this season!
Betsey Johnson Spring/Summer 2013 Runway Show at New York Fashion Week
Which 70 year old do you know that parties like this? Here at FashionTV we have only one person in mind and that is the fabulous Betsey Johnson. The designer not only showed a new Spring 2013 during New York Fashion Week collection but also celebrated her 70th birthday with an epic bash on the runway to celebrate the special occasion. The birthday extravaganza continued as the show began and models walked down the sparkling catwalk in 1980s punk mesh attire, retro-sweet swimwear, spunky lingerie and funky neon colored tones. Johnson’s good pal, Cyndi Lauper, performed a happy birthday salute to the designer during the finale and did we mention Johnson’s signature cartwheel. It was there! We bet you’re wishing you could party with Betsey Johnson, don’t you?
House of Holland Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Show at London Fashion Week
Does Henry Holland have a “Buzz Kill”? The British fashion designer clearly had his head in the 90s during London Fashion Week where he showcased his House of Holland Spring/Summer 2013 collection that graced the spirit of the youthful decade. Though 90s grunge was the starting point, Henry Holland decided to take a softer and sweeter approach to his typical quirky designs. His love for metallics was one of the highlights of the show as well as signature check, thrift shop florals, dip-dye dungarees and girly printed maxi dresses. Glam meets grunge in Holland’s newest aspiration, and we are loving it!
Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2013 Runway Show at London Fashion Week
Burberry will forever remain British heritage and luxury. FashionTV is front and center at the Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2013 fashion show during London Fashion Week in which British glamour embraced the audience. This season, designer Christopher Bailey’s neverending quest for inspiration hit the catwalk with signature trench coats, capes, corsets and an array of candy colored shades all evening long. Bailey’s collection was sassier and more joyful this time around, emphasising the 100 year old image of the Burberry corset as well as the use of the sexiest fabric, satin. 1940s glam reigned the runway with classic opera coats and rich silhouettes.

The Kina Fernandez Spring/Summer 2013 collection is purely elegant and in other words professional. The collection consists of classic lines, detailed tailoring and natural contours of the body with metallics, fringes and plenty of sequins. Girly and bright colors created a stellar showcase.
