L’Oreal: 15 Years in Cannes
FashionTV tagged along with guest Hofit Golan at the L’Oreal 15th Anniversary Dinner, which opened the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. L’Oreal celebrated their 15th year as the official makeup brand during the Cannes event. Many of L’Oreal brand ambassadors from all over the world attended the event dressed in their finest designer dresses and gowns. Celebrities like Jane Fonda, Eva Longoria, Freida Pinto, and Chinese actress Fan Bingbing looked divine as they celebrated the brand. Fan Bingbing looked ladylike in Valentino while Eva Longoria’s Emilio Pucci dress featured sharp geometric insets. Fashion plate Diane Kruger, a member of the Cannes jury, was also at the event.
Triya Swimwear Show - FFW Fashion Rio
It’s the season for swimwear, especially where tiny Brazilian bikinis are concerned! Triya is one of the best representations of Brazilian bathing suits which is why its vibrant metallics and mesh stand out amidst the bright colors. Their fashion show takes place during Fashion Rio, Rio De Janeiro’s annual fashion week. Do you recognize Brazilian models like Lais Ribeiro and Barbara Fialho? It’s hard to tell with all that eye-popping makeup!
Bizuu - FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland Fall/Winter 2012-2013
Bizuu, the collection by designer sisters Zuzanna Wachowiak and Blanka Jordan, was the much talked-about show at FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland for Fall/Winter 2012-2013. The pieces were ladylike and elegant, but with true artistry in the embellished hemlines and enhanced shoulders. Materials like tweed dominated the catwalk. Wachowiak and Jordan both have other professions, but are driven by their desire to create fashion.
Montblanc International Gala and China Store Opening - Beijing, China
Montblanc is a high-end watch and jewelry company, with a particular collection devoted to Princess Grace of Monaco. The timepiece and jewelry company is known all over the world, including in China, where it’s opening its flagship store in Beijing and celebrating with an international gala. Celebrities like Naomi Watts, Jessica Alba, and Nicholas Cage are on hand for the event. Jessica Alba wears Narciso Rodriguez and Watts has on Versace.
