It’s been one crazy week! But here at FashionTV, would we expect anything less? It’s the start of the month we’ve been waiting for all year! (Or at least since the Fall/Winter 2012-2013 season back in February!)

New York Fashion Week is in full gear and FashionTV is in town to bring you everything you need to know from the designers, models, and the catwalk itself!

New York Fashion Week Spring 2013 officially kicked off on September 6 with shows from classic American labels like Tommy Hilfiger and Charlotte Ronson, to edgier shows like Jason Wu, Rag & Bone, and Alexander Wang.   Not only was it a week full of sexy leather, lusty lace and nature-driven ensembles, but it was one filled with the Spring season’s upcoming trends--black and white, water, stripes, and more.

Also this week,  two sexy photoshoots caught the attention of our viewers, including Speedo’s latest sports collection and Merchant 1948’s thrilling new Summer campaign.

Rag & Bone Spring/Summer 2013 Ft. Karlie Kloss & Candice Swanepoel NYFW

There’s something about a Rag & Bone show that always makes your surroundings feel very New York. City spirit and style came out to play with tough biker jackets, leather and lace and plenty of black, but also bright spots of neon like flashing lights in Times Square. Designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright perfectly incorporated their menswear style into Spring 2013, making it easy to wear day and night. Silhouettes were ample with flare mini skirts and boxy vests as well as sporty layers. Did we mention top model Karlie Kloss and Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel strutting in sexy coral pieces at the end of the show?

Jason Wu Spring/Summer 2013 New York Fashion Week Ft. Carolyn Murphy & Erin Heatherton

A little bit of leather, a little bit of lace, that’s all you need to call Jason Wu’s new Spring 2013 collection, GLAMOROUS! This Fashion Week, Jason Wu’s wardrobe is completely seductive with leather skirts, leather bandeaus, sheer blouses and lace inserts. It’s instant lust! The talented designer drew inspiration from a recent Helmut Newton exhibit at the Parisian Grand Palais. Wu did an excellent job this season, playing with innocence and sensuality, adding strong dark silhouettes, and creating a sexy, sophisticated line. No doubt, Jason Wu will definitely be on your list for Spring! If you can handle it...

Alexander Wang Spring 2013 New York Fashion Week Ft. Liberty Ross, Erin Wasson

One of the most over the top shows from New York Fashion Week so far, Alexander Wang showcases his sleek and rave inspired Spring/Summer 2013 collection with top model Erin Wasson and yes, the most talked about woman in the media today, Liberty Ross, who makes her runway comeback this season, perhaps due in part to the fact that her husband recently had a scandalous affair with a Twilight star. This Spring, Wang’s collection is full of sexy cutouts, dresses and sheer mesh in which the designer basically took cut up leather garments, sewed them back together, creating a unique technique of suspended detail. With futuristic style, crisp pieces and a glow in the dark finale like no other, there is one thing to learn about Mr. Alexander Wang. Never be surprised.

Charlotte Ronson Spring 2013 New York Fashion Week

“Water’s elements are captured and transformed,” says fashion designer, Charlotte Ronson, referring to her inspiration for her latest Spring 2013 collection.  She delivered with sexy fishnet overlays, embroidered dresses, girly silhouettes and lacy short shorts. Floral applique dresses with leather bralettes and racer backs were the hit of the evening. The designer’s feminine and playful collection brought along a star studded front row with fans such as Paris Hilton, AnnaSophia Robb, and Rachel Zoe.

Tommy Hilfiger Men Spring 2013 Show & Backstage New York Fashion Week

Red, white and blue is forever. A Spring inspired by a nautical journey, the one and only Tommy Hilfiger gets it done every single time. Hilfiger showcased his Summer 2013 menswear collection during New York Fashion Week and FashionTV had an exclusive front row and backstage with the American icon. “It’s an evolution of the classics”, says Hilfiger. The collection is one in which sportswear meets prep style, mostly known for men who go for yachting, cricket and racing. Preppy blazers, nautical stripes and detailed V-necks flood the catwalk during Hilfiger’s rebirth of safari and prep club.

Sound enthralling, enough?  FashionTV goes behind the scenes of the Speedo 2013 Sports Collection Photoshoot where young models pose in front of cameras in the label’s latest yoga wear, girly swimsuits and colorful sports bras. The line includes a brand new collection of running shoes and swimwear as well.

Merchant 1948 Summer Ad Campaign by Giuliano Bekor

In this featured video, photographer Giuliano Bekor delivers his latest Summer campaign for Merchant 1948 in which it is separated into four scenes,“The Rescue”, “The Find”, “The Pit Stop” and “The Getaway”. More like a short film than an ad campaign, FashionTV was lucky to catch all the behind the scenes scoop, images and filming of the sexy shoot as well as the final results. Friends gather together to search for a treasure chest filled with money, but in the midst get caught up with police officers in the sizzling desert. How do you think this adventure will end?
