Posted on 17th October 2012 | Nightlife

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to reunite music and fashion as FashionTV joins DJ Tiësto for an exclusive interview at the Tiësto Club Life Music Festival in Hong Kong.

Get your clubbing outfits at the ready -- it’s Tiësto time! The world-celebrated electro-house DJ has been busy in Hong Kong, as he held yet another 10-hour complete DJ set, featuring a selection of European DJs for his club life followers at the exclusive W Hotel.

The festival, which highlights some of the best of electronic, house, techno, and trance music on the scene, saw names like DJ Estrella, DJ Pro Zeiko, and more taking to the decks and giving the clubbers an impressive audio-visual night to remember.

Fashion For Music

Speaking exclusively in an interview for FashionTV, Tiësto gave us the lowdown on his new fashion and music venture -- NYT LYF, a capsule collection for GUESS:

“Club life for me is a combination of music, fashion, and nice people who want to have a great night out with great music, lots of vocal tracks, energy, and sexy outfits,” he said.

“...fashion and music go hand-in-hand.”

But why GUESS? Well, pretty simple really. With founder of the fashion house, Paul Marciano, being a good friend of Tiësto’s it was only a matter of time before the two creatives put their heads together to come up with this genius move. Just take a look at some of the club-tastic outfits from the collection!

The NYT LYF collection comprises a limited edition watch, as well as men’s and women’s apparel line where no expense has been spared on the leathers, silvers, and glow-in-the-dark GUESS Tiësto logo print. Funky!

But Tiësto isn’t the only DJ branching out into the fashion world. Lady of the fashion season DJ Solange Knowles landed a major ad campaign with Madewell this year, while Swedish DJ Avicii’s collaboration with Ralph Lauren saw one of the world’s greatest DJs feature in the Denim & Supply Fall ad campaign.
