Heidi Klum: The Face of The New Jordache
Former Victoria's Secret Angel Heidi Klum is going to be leading the new campaign for denim brand Jordache. This is supposed to be the brand’s biggest campaign ever, aiming to bring it back to the mainstream of fashion.
Back in the 80s, Jordache was THE name for sexy denim, with its pieces being most popular among young generations. Nowadays the brand is mostly found on the shelves of Wal-Mart and far away from runways, celebrities and spotlights.
Instead of giving up, Jordache's designers have decided to fight, and to begin, they’ve recruited one of the most stunning supermodels of the current decade – Heidi Klum – to lead their new and biggest-ever advertising campaign.
This is not the first time that Klum has represented the denim brand. In 2007, she was the face of a few of the brand's ad campaigns, and in 2008, she even designed a capsule collection for the label. It seems like this time it is going to be much bigger, much more sexy and much more promising. The new Jordache campaign will include both television components and printed ads in glossies like Cosmopolitan and InStyle.
With a former Victoria's Secret Angel as their face, the designers of Jordache believe this is a great opportunity to breathe some new life into the brand's veins. The ultimate proof for the campaign's success would be opening new Jordache stores, and becoming a leading fashion brand again.
