Hello, Stockholm Fashion Week!
FashionTV welcome to you to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, and home to one of the most beautiful cities in the world; famed for its chic designs, modern aesthetic, and multicultural community.
This week, Stockholm take their hats off to some of the country’s most innovative and independent designers at Stockholm Fashion Week (SFW).
While the world may recognise H&M, Acne, and Cheap Monday amongst some of Sweden’s leading fashion brands, it’S always nice to take time and recognise the smaller independent labels who are leading the Nordic fashion scene in their own, innovative ways. And on Monday, SFW Retailers Collection kicked off for three days of “progressive fashion” and design, showcasing their Spring 2013 looks.

While February and August are the major fashion weeks for ready-to-wear collections, this week marks a different kind of fashion -- and the turnout of blonde-haired, leggy Swedes is nonetheless impressive!
Swedish Streethearts
Trend-setting, avant garde, and edgy are the words that pretty much sum up the Swedish and Nordic fashion scene. And with the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, H&M’s designer collaborations, and Swedish supermodel Marcus Schenkenberg holding a heavy place in our hearts, it’s hard not to love all things Sweden!

Meanwhile, the edgy fashion capital is home to some of the top fashion bloggers and fashionistas in the world, with names like Elin Kling (blog: Style by Kling), Carolina Engman (Fashion Squad), Lisa Olsson (Lisa Place), and couple Hanna and John (Hanna O John) who capture fabulous Swedish fashion, lifestyle, and trends in an inspiring and fresh perspective.
