JC de Castelbajac’s “The Dawn of Innocence” Project With Nouvelle Vague
French designer JC de Castelbajac collaborated with French cover band, Nouvelle Vague (New Wave in French,) to bring a slightly different runway show to Tel Aviv’s annual White Night event.
FashionTV was there to cover the show, which was named ‘The Dawn of Innocence” and showcased a mixture of fashion and entertainment encompassing opera, theater, fashion, music, and art.

Tel Aviv’s Laila Lavan (White Night), is an all-night event where shops and restaurants are open and parties are going on all over the city streets. This enchanting and free concert was part of an event that took place in Bialik Square during the night.

"You're going to see a concert where I did the construction, the cinematography, choose the song, which is telling about love and darkness. And a bit sexuality,” Castelbajac tells FashionTV reporter Tal Shiri. The fashion show combines the print and graphic elements that JC de Castelbajac is known for and adds an element of darkness and drama to the entire design.

Nouvelle Vague singer Mareva Galanter, explains that she has been modeling since she was 14 and is really proud to be singing at the event, which is connected to fashion and art, thanks to Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.
