Jennifer Lawrence: The Hollywood starlet exploding on Magazine Covers
Twenty-year-old actress, Jennifer Lawrence, has been the talk of Hollywood for quite some time now, but lately we’ve been starting to see her just about everywhere.
In 2010, Lawrence had her big break starring in the award-winning indie flick, Winter’s Bone. For her leading performance, Lawrence was awarded nine times at various film festivals around the globe and even received an Academy Award nomination.
The film’s success led way for Lawrence’s integration into more mainstream Hollywood roles, such as her leading appearance in last summer’s big hit X-Men: First Class.
However, nothing could have prepared her for the enormous success of The Hunger Games, a film that earned a record-breaking $152.5 million on its opening weekend and that grossed $19.7 million for its midnight screening, the highest grossing non-sequel midnight screening of all times.
Since it was announced that The Hunger Games would appear on the big-screen, the buzz around the film and its gorgeous starlet, Jennifer Lawrence, has been non-stop.
Jennifer recently graced the covers of Glamour’s and Rolling Stone’s April issues, Delta Sky’s, Donna’s, Parade’s, and Seventeen’s March issues. Needless to say the Hollywood starlet is the next big thing.
What do you think, has Hollywood found its next leading lady?
