New York Fashion Week Trends: Military Looks

Kick-start New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012-2013

Posted on 12th February 2012 | New York Fashion Week Fall 2012

It's that time again! FashionTV brings you exclusive coverage from New York Fashion Week, which promises all the best autumn trends for Fall/Winter 2012-2013.

The loose fabrics, bright greens, hot pinks, shiny purples and flourescent neons have been replaced by furs, deep teals, burgundy reds, brocades, and a kaleidoscope of prints that are perfect for the upcoming Fall season.

The runway shows have just started and already we've seen the signature color blocking of BCBG MaxAzria, the military glam power walkers of Jason Wu, the bowled over sleeves and quirky prints of Peter Som, and the bright orange and deep blue of Cynthia Rowley.

Karlie Kloss may not be walking at New York Fashion Week this season (*sigh) but we've already seen other big name models like Candice Swanepoel, Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls, Aymeline Valade, and Daphne Groeneveld.  American models Jacquelyn Jablonski, Ruby Aldridge and Arizona Muse have made an impact at shows like Helmut Lang, Jason Wu, and BCBG MaxAzria.

Keep your eyes glued to FashionTV this week for an exclusive look at many of the top shows as well as hair and makeup secrets from top makeup artists and hairdressers including reps from brands like Kerastase, MAC Cosmetics and Maybelline.  You don't want to miss all the latest from New York Fashion Week right here on FashionTV!
