Kinga Rajzak – The Slovakian Stunner | FashionTV's Model of the Week
Rajzak’s first step on the runway began at age eighteen. Ever since, she has become one of the most popular and recognizable faces in fashion. So far, she is the most successful Slovakian model and this is just the beginning of her career. Kinga Rajzak is our Model of the Week.
Slovakian models are not usually very common in the fashion industry. Kinga Rajzak turns this picture upside down, marking her homeland on the map. The Slovakian stunner is mostly known for her stare and hair – a crucial combination that made Rajzak one of the most recognizable top models on the catwalks of New York, Paris, Milan and London.
Rocking the Runway
At eighteen, Rajzak took her first step as a professional model. In Fall 2005, she debuted at the Jil Sander Fashion Show and drew plenty of attention due to her unique walk and irresistible look. During the same season she also walked for Nina Ricci and Yohji Yamamoto in Paris Fashion Week.
Between 2006 – 2007 Kinga was continuously busy with ad campaigns and skipped a few Fashion Week seasons. Towards the end of 2007, the Slovakian model returned to the runways and walked the Spring Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu and other designers’ shows.
2008 started off very well for Rajzak as she completed her first couture shows,walking for Givenchy and Valerie Hash during Paris Couture Fashion Week.
Alongside her booming modeling career, Kinga Rajzak has collaborated with the world's top fashion designers. Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Prada, Cavalli, Marc Jacobs and Missoni are just some of the shows in which Rajzak has participated in.

Cover Girl
Kinga Rajzak is an editorial darling, appearing in countless fashion magazines, including V, Dazed & Confused, W, Vogue, Teen Vogue, Elle and more.
In March 2009, Kinga Rajzak successfully landed her first fashion magazine cover. Top fashion photographer, Steven Meisel, photographed her for the cover of Italian Vogue. Results of the photo shoot were outstanding.The same year Rajzak posed for Marton Perlaki during a cover shoot for The Room magazine.
Ad Star
In 2007, two years following her debut, Rajzak was already announced as the new face of Y-3. Later that same year, she was photographed for Neiman Marcus’ catalog.
During 2008, Rajzak became the face of Anna Molinari and was photographed for a Dolce & Gabbana resort ad campaign. Adding to her success, Rajzak also posed for Steven Meisel during a photoshoot for a Missoni ad campaign.
Rajzak posed for Meisel once again in Alberta Ferretti's ad campaign in 2009, at the same time, the young beauty was announced as one of the faces of Balenciaga.
In 2011 Rajzak became the face of Prada and one of the Missoni ad campaign’s biggest stars.

Kinga Rajzak continues to run a successful modeling career on and off the catwalks. It seems as if more and more fashion designers fall in love with her unique look everyday.
