Lets Go To The Beach: Miami Fashion Week
Sexy swimsuits, gorgeous models and LOTS of fun. That's what Miami Fashion Week is all about. Just before this beach party begins, here are some of the highlights we are about to see...
Miami Swim Fashion Week gathers the world's best swimwear designers. Every season they do their best in order to create some innovative, unique and unforgettable swimwear and beachwear collections. The result – a highly anticipated event that bears lots of sex appeal, stunning models and wild fantasies about long vacations by the beach.
“Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim includes the hottest runway shows of the year, debuting collections from internationally established swimwear brands to the industry's future stars”, said Stephanie Zimmer, Manager of Brand Experience Marketing for Mercedes-Benz USA.
Last year Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim provided a few magnificent fashion moments on the catwalks. Here are some of them:
Poko Pano Swimwear Show
Poko Pano is the traditional Brazilian swimwear line by Brazilian swimwear designer Paola Robba. This collection by Robba is all about flowy and full of shape looks. Thirty great beachwear outfits like bikinis, cover ups, mini dresses, skirts and tops were part of the collection. All pieces were made of Amazon macrame. The collection was very beachy, yet very Brazilian-inspired (lots of Amazon rainforests and jungle prints) and eco-centric, which wowed the crowd.
L*Space Swimwear by Monica Wise
L'Space designer Monica Wise is known for creating luxe swimwear with flattering fits. This particular line is hippie-chic. It's swimwear with a boho chic twist. The line also includes cute bohemian coverups and fun flirty models carrying cameras, umbrellas, and luggage. The collection has an “around the world” feel with cowboy hats, turbans, bandanas, floppy hats, Aztec patterns, and stripes. It's a very versatile line for the traveling chick and her fun-loving Summer.
Aqua di Lara Fashion Show
Pink and prints are the name of the game for brand name Aqua Di Lara at Miami Swim Fashion Week 2012. The bathing suits and cover-ups still hold on to the vibrant, fun and fancy-free party girl vibe of the Miami/South Beach landscape. Check out this great show and imagine what the designer - Reyhan Sofraci – prepares this time...
Between July 19 – 23, Miami is all about swimwear and fancy runway shows. Poko Pano, L*Space and Aqua di Lara are going to present their newest lines. Along with them, we expect to see some brand new collections by Gottex, BCBG Swimwear, Lisa Blue, Cia Maritima, White Sands Australia and many others. FashionTV will bring you the best from Mercedes-Benz Miami Fashion Week Swim, so stay tuned and let Miami steal your heart...
