Reputation: Queen of healthy living
Fashion Fact: Miranda has her very own Kora Organics skincare line, perhaps that’s the secret to her everlasting glow!
Miranda Kerr is a face we are all familiar with, if not on the Victoria’s Secret runway, then perhaps from Pharrell Williams and Kanye West’s “Number One” music video, or how about her slew of glamorous red carpet appearances, beauty campaigns, and TV appearances. And then there’s the fact that she’s married to Hollywood heartthrob Orlando Bloom! Sounds to us like she’s got it all... but how did it all begin for the Australian Angel?
In 1997, at the tender age of 13, Miranda Kerr won a magazine model search competition run by Australian magazine, Dolly, and Impulse Fragrances. This marked the beginning of the luscious brunette’s taste of model fame. It was after shooting for editorials, beachwear ads, and walking the catwalk in Melbourne that, in 2004, Miranda took the leap of model faith and head to New York to climb the ladder to top model stardom.
And how happy the fashion world are too! Since 2006, Miranda has been walking the catwalk for Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and appeared in numerous beauty ad campaigns for the likes of Maybelline New York, Clinique Happy, and Arden B. Meanwhile, the Australian sweetheart made various runway appearances, walking with A-class swagger and soul for designers such as Betsey Johnson, Sass & Bide, 3.1 Phillip Lim, and Rock & Republic amongst others.
But it has been 2012 that has seen some of Miranda’s biggest successes, fronting advertising campaigns for Reebok sportswear and most recently was unveiled as the new face of Mango, knocking supermodel Kate Moss off the top spot and taking the whole campaign; television, billboards, online media, print and all!
Yoga, Meditation, and Inner Peace
When Miranda’s not under the model spotlight, she is busy running her organic cosmetics line, Kora skincare, or keeping her slender 5’9” body in perfect shape with 30 minutes of yoga every day! And Miranda’s Reebok Easytone campaign is a sure-fire way to ignite the sportswoman within once you catch a glimpse of her awe-inspiring moves!
