Marion Cotillard goes Dotty for Lady Dior
They lured us in... and now we’re hooked! See the French beauty and Oscar-winning actress, Marion Cotillard, in part 3 of the Lady Dior web documentary, “La metamorphose.”
They’re cutting, they’re snipping, and they’re fitting. We’re talking about the busy hands frantically working away at Dior’s Haute Couture workshops for the latest dresses to be worn by Marion Cotillard for the “Lady Dior” campaign series.
Cotillard, was chosen as the iconic face of Dior handbags back in 2008 and has wowed us once again with the third part in a series of web-documentaries, giving us backstage access to an exclusive Lady Dior photoshoot.
With a new episode rolling out every two weeks, as part of a seven-part story over Fall, we have already been spoiled with everything from behind-the-scenes action to sneaky-peeks at the luxury fashion house’s workshops, and classic Christian Dior designs.
And in the latest instalment of Lady Dior’s videos we catch our first glimpse of Cotillard looking fantastic in a polka dot dress, swinging her hips, and elegantly posing in a number of Christian Dior Haute Couture looks dating from the late-1940s - 1950s. She couldn’t look any more beautiful if she tried!
In the previous episode, “Up and Up,” we were treated to Cotillard’s fitting in a burlesque corset gown, dressmaking secrets from the Dior workshops at 30 Avenue Montaigne, and photoshoot fun with a smiling Marion dancing and singing. Is there anything that she can’t do?!
“Fantasia,” the debut short, prompted our love-affair with the French treasure as we see her being followed to the design workshops where she is briefed on her looks for the campaign. Looking just as exquisite naturally and make-up free, Cotillard talks about why she loves Christian Dior. And maybe FashionTV will start a series about why we love Marion Cotillard!
