Minnie Mouse Theme Shows Are Coming To London Fashion Week!
Some of Britain's best fashion designers are very busy nowadays creating super special collections inspired by the most adorable female rodent the world has ever known – Minnie Mouse. If you are cartoon lovers, put on some mouse ears and get ready for one of the cutest fashion trends of London Fashion Week.
Last Fall, Miss Piggy rocked the fashion industry, with her squeezable cheeks printed all over t-shirts, dresses and many other fashion items. This was due to the release of “The Muppets” film where Miss Piggy “played” the Paris Vogue editor. This Fall, another lovable cartoon icon is going to make a fashion week appearance. Disney’s adorable female mouse is on her way!
According to British Vogue, Minnie is getting a stylish upgrade by some of UK's best fashion designers. Richard Nicoll, Giles Deacon, Piers Atkinson, and Meadham Kirchhoff are some of the names that are working hard to start up a new Minnie Mouse fashion agenda. During London’s upcoming fashion week, those designers will expose their “Minnie Mouse Must Haves” - accessories and garments inspired by her oh-so-famous red and white polka dot dress, bow and big round ears. All the designed items will be offered for sale on eBay to benefit the Fashion Arts Foundation.
"Minnie Mouse and her unique style continue to inspire fans across the world. Surpassing trends, Minnie Mouse's iconic silhouette, signature bows and polka dots always remain in style which is why she is as relevant today as the day she first appeared on the fashion scene", said Marc Low, Vice President of Fashion and Home for The Walt Disney Company EMEA, to the British Telegraph.
Apart from this Minnie celebration, innovative fashion designers such as Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, Versace and Elie Saab have designed couture re-imaginations of classic Disney Princess dresses. Those magnificent dresses will be showcased in the window of Disney's historic Knightsbridge store in London. The only thing you’ll have to decide on your next fashion trip to London is whether you want a polka dot dress or a magnificent princess ball gown...
