It is a very common thought that motherhood and a successful career can't go hand in hand. The responsibilities of both don't always allow women to continue with their demanding career, so sometimes they seek other career alternatives.

But it’s not absolutely necessary for everyone to choose this path. Many women decide to take a short break and then get back on the runway. Many models become mothers and don't change their career in favor of changing diapers.

Heidi Klum

The fact that Heidi Klum gave birth four times doesn't prevent her from being one of the most popular Victoria's Secret Angels of all time. In 2010, after 13 years, Klum ended her collaboration with Victoria's Secret. Since then she became more of a business women – a career that hasn’t been any less demanding than modeling. In 2011 Klum earned more than 20 million dollars. This achievement placed her on Forbes’ Annual World's Top Earning Models list.

Gisele Bundchen

The only model who earned more money in 2011 than Klum was Gisele Bundchen, earning approximately 45 million dollars. In 2009 Bundchen became a mom, but since then launched her own skincare line and continued to stun the world with her sexy campaigns and shows.
