Sexy actress/singer/spokesmodel Vanessa Williams will launch her brand new skincare line in August. “I’ve decided to share my secrets”, she recently told WWD about the new collection.

Former “Desperate Housewives” star, Vanessa Williams, is about to dive into the beauty and health care business. At the beginning of August she will launch her first skincare line, under the name “ReVitalistic Skincare.” This is a five product line that includes anti-aging moisture treatment, enzyme skin peel and neck treatments, eye serum and more.

Fourty-nine year old Williams told WWD that she would like to “share her secrets” with women all around the world. According to Williams, the skincare line was developed from all the lotions, potions, tips and tricks she's gathered frequenting the best skincare professionals in the world.

When she was asked about her involvement in creating the products, Williams said that she was on top of every little detail along the way. “I am involved in every aspect of it, from the name, the color palette of the packing, the logo and the ingredients. It has been a labor of love and I have loved working on it for years until I knew it was perfect."

As a former beauty queen (the first black Miss America) Williams is aware to the importance of a healthy skin. ”All my life I have battled skin problems,” she says. But now that her new skincare line has debuted with a formula developed by the best skincare doctors in the world, it looks like Williams will finally be able to put all those battles behind her.
