Their hot performance during the 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony made it clear: a Spice Girls reunion is a must. The one problem is that Victoria Beckham doesn’t want it. So what’s a poor group of “Wannabe”s to do?

Whether you watched the Olympics Games or chose to ignore the sport contests, the closing ceremony was a once in a lifetime experience. Apart from George Michael and many other great British talents, it also included a one-time only reunion of the Spice Girls.

Although the Spice Girls show was amazing in person, getting all of the girls together on one stage wasn’t an easy thing to do. The main problem was Victoria (Posh Spice) Beckham who decided the magic is gone. Eventually, she agreed to do it anyway, and surprisingly (or not) was very satisfied with her performance. Once the show was over Beckham posted: "I was a popstar for the night!! I love u @MelanieCmusic, @OfficialMelB, @GeriHalliwell, @EmmaBunton!! we did it!! X vb".

But posting is one thing and getting the girls band back together for a reunion tour is a totally different issue. Right now all other girls are trying to convince Posh to say yes to this musical adventure. VB keeps saying she’s busy raising her four children and  wants to move on with her new fashion line.

Speaking of that successful line, during the closing ceremony Beckham had another great moment. As her career as a fashion designer rises, Beckham watched Georgia May Jagger wearing one of her creations during the supermodels extravaganza. She “looked amazing”, said the proud designer after the show.

The question now is whether VB will manage to juggle between her various careers or whether she’ll prefer to stay true to her condition that the Olympic reunion will not repeat itself. Either way, soon we will all be able to see her new collection on stage during the upcoming New York Fashion Week. And if you are a Spice Girl fan, this may be a great time to cross your fingers…
