As summer draws to an end, and we greet the upcoming fashion month of September, Miami-based fashion photographer and videographer Jason Bassett reminds us it’s not too late for one last trip to the beach or pool.

Sexy Photoshoot with Sunamys Villalba

Bassett, certainly knows how to put the sass into fashion with his fantasy-inspired imagery on this editorial collaboration called Mindless. Working with 21-year-old Florida beauty Sunamys Villalba, Bassett captures Villalba on the beach in all her glory, as she works her strapless earth-hued bathing suit, dusty-pink lace intimates, and fishnet top, leaving just enough to the imagination.  The video is edited to the tune of Radioactive by Imagine Dragons. Aluna Swimwear 2012 Fashion Show

It doesn’t get much better than the FountainBleau in South Beach, during Miami Swim Fashion Week, where Aluna Swimwear went for gold, as they held their fashion show poolside. Naturally, Bassett was there to capture the energies, and dazzle us with images of the models maxed-out in color, shimmer, and glistening white smiles. Grab a cocktail and feel the life of the water as you experience the fun, live DJ’s, and catwalk show, reminding you where the sun always shines.

Swan & Kitten

Bassett’s recurring theme of shooting against a nature backdrop has certainly worked wonders. In this exquisite photoshoot, model Swan poses on a rustic, seaweed-strewn, beach. Dressed in textured pieces by Eva Danielle, Bassett lets the soft fabrics, sea breeze, and seductive model tell the story, not forgetting the adorable grey kitten to add a touch of innocence.
