The fashion weeks of Fall 2013 have come and gone, but the haute fashion memories remain. Who can forget the furry boxing mitts of Altuzarra and Alexander Wang, the eye popping red of Burberry, or the vibrant “vunk” of Versace?

These and more are moments that will long live with us -- which is why we want to relive them this week when FashionTV presents our weekend special, an homage to the Best of Fall 2013 Fashion Week.

To preview those magical moments, that you will see in their entirety this weekend, check out the videos below featuring two of the hottest shows from Milan and New York.

Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 2013-2014 - Milan Fashion Week

The luxe Italian fashion brand (who is so utterly Italian!) showcased another collection that paid tribute to their heritage. This time, though, there were (obvious) religious undertones. Using the mosaics of the Cathedral of Monreale in Sicily as reference, they printed dresses with a mixture of gold fabric and Byzantine art.

There were also lace dresses and religious icons in place of typical accessories. But really, how can you say typical -- for when is D&G ever typical? Hand beaded icons, looks that spoke to the Catholic Church, and bright red frocks rounded out this rich collection that was far less corny than one might think it would be.

Jeremy Scott Fall/Winter 2013-2014 - New York Fashion Week

The fact that Cara Delevingne opened this designer’s Fall 2013 showcase was the least talked about aspect of the collection. What got the crowd going then? Definitely those dark and punky skater wigs (even Cara wore one), cartoonish prints, and worded tees which said things like “Adults Suck Then You Are One.” It’s up to you to decide whether Scott lived up to expectations but he certainly made a statement once again.
