Funkshion Miami Beach Fashion Week 2012 celebrated their 70th season last month, bringing the world great trends for the Spring 2013 swimwear season.

Toxic Sadie Swimwear 2013

Confidence is everything when it comes to bikinis, and at Toxic Sadie’s Spring 2013 showing,  bare skin was not a problem. Designer Erin Thomas showcased many kinds of prints in his collection alongside various pastel hues of pink, lavender, cool turquoise and orange. Triangle bikini sets were a popular trend this season as were one shouldered bandeaus.

Papi Swimwear 2013

Papi’s Spring collection, brought much more color to the runway as the brand dressed the models in summer hues of yellow, bright red and green as well as fashionable eyewear. The main attraction of the show was actually the men’s swimwear, walking around in tight skimpy swim shorts, in a variety of very colorful outfits. A tasteful show with a great attitude and sporty nature.

Chloe Swimwear 2013

French powerhouse, Chloe, is always a highly anticipated show.  As in seasons past, it was hosted at the Soho House.   At the show, fashion enthusiasts could get a glimpse of their exclusive premier collection for Spring 2013. The collection featured Chloe’s signature nude and sunset colored swimwear as well as cute ready-to-wear pieces such as sun dresses and coverups.
