Swedish music director, Johan Renck, has directed extraordinary video clips for Madonna, Suede, Kylie Minogue, Beyonce and many others. He is also famed for releasing several hit singles of his own under his artist name, Stakka Bo, such as “Here We Go.”

Renck has directed for TV series hits, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead, and is also widely known for making outstanding ad campaigns over the years.

Let's review three of his greatest campaigns:

Rihanna for Armani Jeans

The first video features pop mega-star, Rihanna, in a dark parking lot in the back of a luxury car. Rihanna receives a pair of jeans and slowly undresses out of her black dress.  While wearing nothing but revealing lace lingerie, she then slips into a pair of sexy Armani jeans and stilettos. Liv Tyler for Givenchy

A steamy video featuring film star Liv Tyler singing and dancing in a seductive manner.  She is wearing an oversized black sweater, knee-high tights, stilettos and cheeky panties. The rough editing, bright neon lights, and dancing men surrounding Tyler, all setup a wonderfully orchestrated video for Givenchy.

Cristiano Ronaldo for Armani Jeans

Probably the most successful ad of the bunch, Real Madrid superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, is posing shirtless for Armani Denim. The football icon is seen wandering about confused, looking for his T-shirt in his hotel room, while the maid is ‘enjoying the view’.

The ad has a very simple plot but is executed in great style.
