Three Great Shows from Miami Fashion Week
Bikinis, sexy models and a carnival spirit – this is what Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim is all about. In that sense, they didn’t disappoint for the Spring/Summer 2013 season!
Here are three of the hottest runway shows of Miami Swim Week, with designs that will make next summer steamier than ever!
Red Carter
Red Carter offered much more than a swimwear collection for Spring 2013. The brand showcased a fashion theatre that included a magnificent opening and stunning models in a disco-themed safari.
According to Carter, Spring 2013 is going to be all about bikinis and monokinis all in rainbow colors and tribal prints. Some of the models on the catwalk were holding disco balls, an accessory that gave a fun party vibe to the entire evening. The flattering figures and great atmosphere during the event turned the Red Carter Spring 2013 collection to one of the most memorable shows of the week.
Lisa Blue
Lisa Burk, the designer behind Lisa Blue, presented a fabulous swimsuit collection that was inspired from the designer’s love for whales and dolphins. Swimsuits in both bikini and one-piece shapes were showcased in colors like metallic gold, silver, black and blue.
Most of the models wore gold and black feathers in their hair, providing the whole show with a tribal look and lots of glam. This was the show that opened Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, and with a start like this, it was certain that the rest of the week would be a success.
Agua Bendita
Agua Bendita presented its collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim for the very first time. The Colombian swimwear line added lots of glam and ethnic atmosphere to this sexy fashion week. For Spring 2013, Aqua Benita created a youthful and sexy collection, full of colorful prints and tribal inspirations. The result is an innovative new direction that we can’t wait to see next year.
