Three Highlights From Milan Men Fashion Week
Each and every Milan Fashion Week brings us the newest fashion trends and an innovative vision from the world's top designers. Legendary brands such as Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Gucci, Armani and many others, present their new collections and set high standards for French designers who present in Paris just a few weeks later.
Milan Men Fashion Week Spring 2013 was no different. Gorgeous male models walked on and off the runway, leaving us ladies wanting more. Six packs, bright smiles, tailored suits as well as see-through undergarments were all at the heart of this Fashion Week. Though it was difficult, we managed to pick only three fashion shows from this glamorous week. Check out the best menswear shows Italy has to offer.
Dolce & Gabbana
The duo Italian designers have decided to bring their latest campaign to the catwalks. Therefore, along with familiar male models, this time around, Dolce & Gabbana chose Sicilian boys to present their new collection. Though the boys looked a bit stiff on the catwalk, they added an authentic dimension to the entire show.
After watching them on stage, you could actually imagine dark haired and olive skinned Sicilians trying this collection on. To complete the atmosphere, a village band played some traditional Sicilian songs live on stage. Apart from the men, the new collection included loose blouses, high figure pants and a variety of hats and bags.

Versace
According to Versace, next Spring is going to be filled with gladiator sandals, semi-transparent boxing shorts, sleeveless waistcoats and (if possible) boxing champion belts. Yes, Versace Spring 2013 Fashion Show was more arena than a catwalk. The crowd went insane when Donatella Versace exposed her version of man wearing pink. One of the looks she presented included pink gladiator sandals, a pink leather jerkin and a unique pink metallic bag.
This is definitely the most memorable look revealed. One last thing – the new line included a few different underwear versions. The reason for that is very simple: Versace is launching a new underwear line and this fashion show was a great chance to prove how the new items can do only good for a man's body...
Salvatore Ferragamo
The collection by Ferragamo was extremely colorful and cheerful, yet sophisticated. The elite Italian fashion house presented tailored suits in hues of orange and aquamarine in one jacket, yellow jacket and light green pants and other rainbow colored outfits.
If you like typical grey, blue or black suits, you should skip this show. On the other hand, if your spirit is young and you like to stand out, Spring 2013 by Ferragamo is the perfect collection for you.
