The sequined cocktail numbers came in color blockings of raspberry pink, ivory, and midnight blue, some with geometric lace trimmings and all which hugged every inch of the sexy runway models’ bodies. These beautiful gowns would look jaw-droppingly spectacular on the likes of actress Michelle Williams, Emma Stone, and the curvalicious Beyonce.
2. Zac Posen
Zac Posen knows how to wow a crowd with his tour de force gowns, and this Spring 2013 collection saw a cocktail of 1940s style old-Hollywood dresses hit the runway with fishtail hemlines, fiery hues, and body conscious silhouettes. Naturally, pleating and pin-tucking
made for show-stopping pieces and Coco Rocha appeared last in the show wearing a stunning tiered white ball dress.

Designers Georgia Chapman and Keren Craig’s high-wattage gowns this New York Fashion Week took a trip across the continent and were inspired by India in the 1960s. The result, was an array of dreamy pieces -- frilled layers, shiny jeweled tunic tops, and metallic hues -- that dazzled the runway; making for the ultimate red-carpet show stopper!See how Marchesa created that Indian glamour backstage at New York Fashion Week
With ladies Kim Kardashian, Kelly Osbourne, Olivia Palermo, Bar Refaeli, Stacy Keibler, Jenna Dewan Tatum and Sarah Hyland spotted on the front row in New York, we’ll be keeping an eye out to see if one of these lovelies will be dripping in Marchesa jewels, chiffon, and sequins at the Oscars!

This season Reem Acra mixed sweet with sexy in a collection inspired by Aaron Young’s iconic motorcycle art.
