Victoria Beckham Plans a Flagship Store
After presenting her first collection during New York fashion week, Victoria Beckham is now working on her first store. The location: London. The aspirations: e-commerce, and stores in the USA and Hong Kong.
Victoria Beckham received lots of enthusiastic responses on her first collection presented during New York Fashion Week. The silhouettes, the fabrics, and the themes she chose to use, made it very clear – a new era is rising. The former Posh Spice and wife of David Beckham is taking her first steps into the world of fashion, stating that the launch of her collection is only the beginning of her whole new career.
Just like any other fashion designer, Victoria Beckham would like women all over the world to wear her designs. Therefore, she is now working on opening her first flagship store. The fact that Beckham launched her label during New York Fashion Week and lives in the US, made it reasonable for her to open the new store in New York. However, Beckham’s heart will always be in the UK, so she told CNN that the new store will probably be located in London.
The former Spice Girls star is known for her aspirations. Right now, she is working on debuting her first store, “but in the not-too-distant future maybe it will be Hong Kong”, she told CNN. “[I'm] also working on e-commerce at the moment, as well. I just want to take baby steps, build this business at a steady pace. I don't want to rush. I don't want to run before I can walk."
Victoria's steps into the fashion world look very promising. Lets wait and see what surprises she has in store for her first customers.
