When Heritage Meets Fashion: London Men's Fashion Week

London is one of the world’s most innovative fashion capitals. From June 15th to 17th, the best British designers will present their new men's collections for Spring 2013. If you are looking for sophisticated fashion along with funky trends, London Men's Fashion Week is where you will find it.
In the past, men’s fashion shows in London were presented on a specified day during London Fashion Week. Those in charge of the men’s day and The British Fashion Council (BFC) have decided to create a new men’s fashion platform; London Collections: MEN.
London Collections: MEN will allow British fashion designers to launch and present their newest collections specifically for men and enjoy international attention from press and buyers. More than 50 fashion collections will be presented during the new Fashion Week, and the organizers promise numerous surprises from the British fashion capital.
The highlights of London Collections: MEN (June 15 – 17), will include stellar shows by Christopher Kane and Jonathan Saunders. The designers believe that the new men’s lines are the beginning of a new era for their brands. The new platform will allow the designers an approach to a whole new crowd. Based on the success of their women’s lines, Saunders and Kane are positive London Collections: MEN will be a wonderful opportunity for them to soar.
Apart from Saunders and Kane, Iconic British brands like Dunhill, Hackett, Margaret Howell and Pringle of Scotland will host presentations alongside a selection of heritage brands and tailors. Another Brit brand that will host an exclusive collection preview is Belstaff. Last but not least is one of the most successful British brands – Burberry that will expose a Burberry Timepieces presentation.
London Collections: MEN will kick start the menswear calendar. With such great promises, it’s hard to wait for this new Fashion Week to begin...
