Overview

Christian Dior fashion house was established in 1946. His ultra-feminine designs quickly became dubbed the “New Look,” as women starved of glamour following the Second World War pushed his status to one of the most famous French designers in history. Master of creating shapes and silhouettes for “hourglass” women, Dior set the world alight with his classic designs which still influence modern-day fashion. Dior passed in 1957 and currently Raf Simons has been welcomed as the new head designer for the brand.
