Overview

Nina Ricci began practicing fashion when she was 13-years-old. In 1908, she joined the fashionable House of Raffin, where she worked as a designer and would stay for 20 years. Ricci left Raffin with decades of experience, and the motivation to create her own label through which she would express her own fashion visions. In 1932, the house of Nina Ricci was founded by herself and her son Robert Ricci, which gave her the chance to finally create the gowns, dresses, and accessories she had always dreamed of. Ricci's designs are famed for their romantic, feminine, and luxurious touches.
