Victoria Beckham is a British singer, style icon, and fashion designer. After featuring on the covers of various fashion magazine and modelling as the face of Marc Jacobs in 2008, Beckham decided to move her fashion career forward and launched her very own label. Her first collection was unveiled at New York Fashion Week in 2008, and included luxurious, limited-edition dresses of which only 400 were made. Beckham’s debut collection received worldwide critical acclaim within the fashion industry. As a fashion designer, she has stated more than once that she will never work or design anything using furs. In 2011, she took home the award for Designer of the Year at the annual British Fashion Awards.
