Anja Rubik was born in Poland on June 10th, 1985. Since she was a little child she dreamt about becoming a super model. In order to fulfill her biggest wish she joined a local modeling contest, and was scouted there by a representative of a Parisian agency.
On 2002 she decided to become a full time model, and settled in New York.Only one year later, on 2003, Anja Rubik walked for Burberry, Jil Sander, and Stella McCartney shows in Milan and Paris. 
Anja Rubik was the face of Emanuel Ungaro, Emporio Armani and Jimmy Choo on 2005. After that Anja Rubik was also the face of Tod's (2006), Chlo'e (2008), Gucci and Giorgio Armani (2009) and Fendi (2010).
Along the years Anja Rubik was photoshooted by the world's best photographers on several exotic locations. On 2006 Steven Meisel photographs Rubik for Dolce & Gabbana. Later that year Patrick Demarchelier photographs Rubik for Tommy Hilfiger in Alaska. On 2007 Karl Lagerfeld photographs Rubik for Chanel eyewear. 
Anja Rubik's short-but-intense modeling career included walking on the best catwalks in almost every fashion week. She walked for Donna Karran, Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Christian Dior couture, John Galliano, Ralph Lauren, Fendi, Oscar de la Renta, Matthew Williamson, Hermès and others.
Among Anja Rubik's friends from the modeling world you can find Raquel Zimmermann, Catherine McNeil, Coco Rocha and Magdalena Frackowiak.
When she is not on the catwalks or photoshooting campaigns, you can find Anja Rubik at the cinemas or under the water. Her favorite hobbies are films and scuba diving.
