Abbey Lee Kershaw’s first appearance on the catwalks during fashion week season was in 2008. She opened the Fall fashion shows of Givenchy in Paris and Erin Fetherstone during New York Fashion Week. Since then, she managed to model for the world’s top fashion labels, among them Fendi, Versace, Kenzo, Diesel, John Rocha, Etro and Rag & Bone.
One of Lee’s most memorable moments on the catwalks is her famous fall on Alexander McQueen’s show during Paris Fashion Week. Tight corset and high heels were the reason for the drama on stage, but shortly after the incident, it was published that Abbey was OK.
Throughout her successful modelling career, Abbey Lee Kershaw posed for the best fashion photographers. In 2008 it was Mario Testino who photographed her for two D&G ad campaigns. The same year, Steven Meisel photographed her for CK Jeans ad campaign alongside other young models. Also during 2008, Lee appeared alongside top model Lily Donaldson in Gucci’s Fall ad campaign photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. In 2009, Abbey Lee was the face of Chloe’ and Gucci’s fragrance – Flora.
In 2010, Lee replaced supermodel Claudia Schiffer as one of the faces of Chanel. She was then photographed for several successful campaigns, among them for CK Calvin Klein, H&M and Mulberry.
In 2011, Abbey Lee was chosen to be the face of Tom Ford and Hugo Boss. In addition she modeled for Gucci’s Fall ad campaign and stunned as the face of Versace’s Yellow Diamond fragrance.
In between ad campaigns, runway shows and other modeling projects, Abbey Lee Kershaw finds a little time to do sports. She enjoys working out and spending lots of time with her family.
