1997 was the year Adriana Lima debuted at the Spring Anna Sui show in New York. Her career quickly continued to rise and in 2000, she walked for top brands like Fendi, Valentino, Emporio Armani, Ralph Lauren and Vera Wang fashion shows in Milan, New York and Paris fashion weeks. she continued collaborating with some great fashion designers such as Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Versace and others.
The Brazilian stunner is most known for her work with the sexy lingerie brand – Victoria’s Secret. In 1999, Lima completed her first VS show, one year later she signed an Angel contract, and appeared on the brands' annual shows since then. Lima opened the sexy show four consecutive times in a row during 2003, 2007, 2008 and 2010. Throughout her career as an Angel, Lima received the privilege of presenting a few of Victoria's Secrets' most sexy and luxurious designs. As an example, in the 2008 annual show, she wore a 5 million dollar worth Fantasy Bra. The unique item was set with black and white diamonds, rubies and other precious stones.
At the start of her modeling career, Adriana Lima became the face of Anna Molinari (1997). Throughout her career she completed several advertising campaigns both for fashion brands and world wide companies. She was chosen to feature as the face of Guess? (2000), Maybelline (2003), Italian cell-phone empire Telecom (2005), Givenchy (2009), Loewe (2010) and others.
Adriana Lima was photographed for three very successful ad campaigns that were published during the Super Bowl games. The first ad was aired in 2008 in which it was a solo Victoria's Secret ad, that was seen by 103.7 million viewers. In 2012, the bombshell became the only celebrity to ever star in two Super Bowl commercials in one game. She was the star of commercials for online flower services – Teleflora and Kia Motors and were watched by more than 200 million viewers.
Apart from being a successful top model, Adriana Lima is also an actress. So far she’s only received small roles, and also made a guest appearances on the American TV series - “Ugly Betty”.
She is currently married to the Serbian NBA player, Marko Jeric. The couple have two young daughters.
