In 2006, Alana Zimmer made her debut appearance on the catwalk, walking for the likes of Proenza Schouler, Dolce & Gabbana and Chanel at New York, Milan and Paris fashion weeks. Throughout her career, the Canadian model has collaborated with almost every great designer and label in the fashion world, to include Giorgio Armani, Alexander McQueen, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Marc Jacobs amongst others. She has modeled for both ready-to-wear and haute couture collections.
Zimmer earned her first advertising campaign in 2007, when she was chosen as the face of Missoni Sport. She was later booked for many other ad campaigns, such as Marc Jacobs (2007), Moschino (2008), Armani Prive (2008), Jean Paul Gaultier couture (2008), DKNY Jeans (2009), Hermes (2011) and others. Her most recent campaigns were in 2012 for Jean Paul Gaultier and Ports 1961.
Asides from working as an international top model, Zimmer likes to spend time with her closest friends, as well as knitting, running and practicing yoga.
