In 2005, Alison Nix made her debut appearance on the New York and Milan fashion week catwalks, walking for big names like Marc Jacobs, Marni, and Missoni. During the next season, Nix walked for Yigal Azrouel and Marc by Marc Jacobs, amongst other fashion shows at New York fashion week.
One of her bravest moments came in 2006, when Nix decided to cut her hair short, just in time to amaze the coming fashion week season audience. Nix has graced the catwalks for many top designers and brands, among them: Christian Dior, John Galliano, Paul Smith, Y-3, Elie Saab, Armani Prive, and others. She has presented both ready-to-wear and haute couture collections.
The first advertising campaign Nix landed was in 2006, when she was pictured by David Sims for Benetton. In 2007, she was chosen to feature as the face of Cacharel and also modeled for Barneys’ New York catalog. One year later, in 2008, she became the face of luxurious Italian brand, Valentino Couture. Her most recent ad campaign was in 2012, when Nix modeled for the Diesel.
When she is not busy pursuing her modeling career, Nix likes to dance and go shopping with old friends.
