Rocking the Runway
Refaeli made her first career steps modeling for local Israeli brands. In 2008, she made a catwalk appearance for Puerta di Europa's bridal show in Spain.
Ad Star
Throughout her career Refaeli focused mainly on ad campaigns and stills. In 2005, she appeared on O'Neill’s ad campaign and one year later was announced as the spokesperson for Moet & Chandon. In 2008, she graced on ad campaigns for Hurley and True Religion Jeans. Recently, she was chosen to be the new face of Escada's Especially Escada fragrance.
Among Refaeli's most great achievements was landing on the cover of the Sports Illustrated in 2004, and on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2009. She was also photographed for Elle, Love, Harper's Bazaar, Aena, Maxim and GQ magazines.
Off the Runways
Bar Refaeli had a long and infamous romantic relationship with one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Leonardo DiCaprio (after he broke up with supermodel Gisele Bundchen). She enjoys hanging out and attending luxurious fashion events as well as posing to the cameras on the red carpets while wearing top brands' limited edition gowns. Other than that, Refaeli volunteers for Project Sunshine – an organization that provides free services and programs for children facing life-threatening illnesses. She also likes to spend her free time with family and close friends.
