Prinsloo is most known from her Victoria’s Secret runway shows. She has been walking the VS runway since 2007, and in 2009 she became one of the brand’s angels. Prinsloo was also the spokesmodel of Victoria’s Secret’s sub-brand – Pink.
Prinsloo’s debut on the runways wasn’t during a Victoria’s Secret show. Her first time on a professional catwalk was in 2005 during the Spring Prada and Miu Miu fashion shows. The following fashion week season she walked for Alessandro Dell’Acqua, Chanel, Fendi and Alexander McQueen. Still in 2006, Prinsloo took part in the Chanel, Elie Saab and Gaultier couture fashion shows.
The Namibian model kept on collaborating with top designers, such as Diane von Furstenberg, Zac Posen, Anna Sui and Carolina Herrera and presented her sexy physique on their runways. Yet, the main focus in her modelling career are ad campaigns and the annual Victoria’s Secret lingerie fashion show.
Behati’s unique look earned her many ad campaigns, editorials and fashion magazine covers. Her first campaign was for Kurt Geiger in 2005. One year later she became the face of Nina Ricci, photographed for Marc by Marc Jacobs and took a part in an H&M ad campaign.
During 2007 Prinsloo was photographed for both Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger ad campaigns. She also appeared in the Neiman Marcus catalogue. In 2008, she became the face of Nine West and appeared in DKNY Jeans and Gap campaigns.
The Namibian stunner loves playing basketball when she is not busy with modelling. She also enjoys shopping and hanging out with her model friends.
