Rocking the Runway
Candice Swanepoel’s debut was at the 2006 Tommy Hilfiger Spring Fashion Show in New York. That same season she walked for Dolce & Gabbana during Milan Fashion Week. Swanepoel left a lasting impression and during the Fall of 2006, she walked for some of the best brands such as Betsey Johnson, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, Heatherette and more.
Spring of 2007 was a great season for Swanepoel once again. She walked for Diane von Furstenberg, Trace Reese, Rock & Republic and Nanette Lepore during New York Fashion Week.
Apart from her career as an Angel, the striking blonde continues to take part in a variety of fashion shows. During Spring 2012, she opened the Giambattista Valli show in New York and during the recent Sao Paulo Fashion Week (Spring 2013), she opened and closed the Colcci runway show.
Cover Girl
Candice Swanepoel landed on her first fashion magazine cover when she was only seventeen. Back in 2005, the editors of Greek Vogue thought the young model was perfect for their magazine, and they were certainly right about that one.
Three years later, in 2008, Swanepoel was photographed for the cover of German Elle. In 2009, she posed for Lisa Loftus during a covershoot for Ocean Drive Magazine.
From 2010 – 2011, Swanepoel appeared on the covers of South African Marie Claire, Italian and Brazilian Vogue, V and British GQ.
Fashion Forward
Candice Swanepoel has all she needs in order to continue what she loves to do. At the age of twenty-four she runs an incredibly sexy international modeling career and represents the most prestigious fashion labels. At the moment, Swanepoel is at the height of her career, but from what we can see, the sky’s the limit for this Angel.
