McNeil's debut on a professional runway show was at the start of 2007. She opened the Missoni, McQueen, Dell'Acqua and Givenchy Fall shows. After this great debut, V magazine predicted McNeil is going to be the next supermodel. This wasn't a mistake.
The following years, Catherine McNeil had the privilege of collaborating with the world's top fashion designers. She opened and closed countless fashion shows, and strutted her sexy figure on the catwalks of Carolina Herrera, MaxMara, Dior, Chanel, Gaultier, Christian Lacroix, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Prada, Stella McCartney and many more.
The fruitful collaboration between Catherine McNeil and Mario Testino earned the Australian model a few very important ad campaigns. In 2007, McNeil posed for Testino during photoshoots for D&G, Hugo Boss and Donna Karan ad campaigns. The same year, she was also photographed alongside Kate Moss for Versace.
In 2008, Catherine McNeil was photographed by Mario Sorrenti for the French Vogue calendar and Patrick Demarchelier photographed her for the Pirelli calendar and in 2008 McNeil became the face of Hermes.
Catherine McNeil continued to get huge campaigns. She became the face of Louis Vuitton Cruise ad campaign and was photographed alongside with Claudia Schiffer for Dolce & Gabbana resort.
In 2010 McNeil became the face of Givenchy.
Catherine McNeil has had huge success as a runway model. When she is not busy with the fashion industry, McNeil likes to watch rugby, work on used cars (yes, this is not a mistake) and listen to music.
