Rocking the Runway
Turlington didn't appear on runway shows, but preferred music videos and documentaries. During the 1990s, Turlington appeared in “Unzipped”, a documentary about fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi. She also featured in “Pret-a-Porter”, a mockumentary by Hollywood director Robert Altman.
In 1986, she appeared in Duran Duran's “Notorious” music video and in George Michael's “Freedom” video (1990).
Ad Star
From the very beginning, Turlington’s stardom rose and eventually the American model became one of the most recognizable and fruitful faces of the nation, with dozens of modeling contracts. Along her career she was chosen to be the face of Missoni, Valentino, Chanel, Maybelline, Burberry, Revlon, Escada and of course – Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Underwear.
Off the Runways
Turlington is married to Edward Burns since 2003. In 2006, she gave birth to their first daughter and four years later gave birth to a son.
