Elsa Sylvan's debut was during the Givenchy Spring 2007 at Paris Fashion Week. During the same season, she walked for Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, Proenza Schouler and Doo.Ri during New York Fashion Week. Since then, Sylvan has been in high demand from top photographers and starred in major fashion shows walking for: Vivienne Westwood, Lanvin, Chanel, Christian Lacroix, Yigal Azrouel, Balenciaga, Valentino, Armani, Elie Saab and many others top designers.
Throughout her modeling career Elsa Sylvan skipped a few fashion week seasons. Lately she has returned to the catwalks and walked for the Fall Armani Prive' and Valentino Couture fashion shows in Paris.
Sylvan’s first successful ad campaign was for Benetton, photographed by David Sims in 2007. That same year, Sylvan and Behati Prinsloo (spokesmodel for the Victoria's Secret sub-brand - Pink) were photographed together for the Sportmax Fall campaign. One year later, in 2008, she posed along with supermodels Toni Garrn and Ali Stephens for photographer Steven Meisel during another brilliant Calvin Klein Jeans ad campaign. In 2009, Sylvan was photographed by Mario Testino for a D&G ad campaign.
Elsa Sylvan is much more than just a pretty face. When she is not on the runways, she is very interested in politics and international business relations.
