Flavia de Oliveira debuted on the catwalk at the age of 18. She walked for designers such as Yigal Azrouel, Giorgio Armani, and Nina Ricci at New York, Milan, and Paris fashion weeks during the Spring 2001 season. Despite this great beginning, the Brazilian model waited another five years before landing the chance to walk the catwalk for Yves Saint Laurent. She later showcased the designs of Michael Kors, Elie Saab, Christian Dior, Armani Prive and many other top brands. De Oliveira also graced the Victoria's Secret runway at the sexiest show of the year from 2006 – 2008, and again in 2010 and 2011.
In 2006, de Oliveira was chosen to feature as the face of Salvatore Ferragamo and Cesare Paciotti. Later, she starred in advertising campaigns for Victoria's Secret (2007), Gap (2007), Benetton (2007) and others.
Surprisingly or not, de Oliveira's favorite hobby is shopping!
